Luis Ayala

Secretary-General of the Socialist International Luis Ayala was elected “Honorary Doctor” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his important contribution to the development and strengthening of international cooperation by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 19, 2014.

The Committee of the Socialist International operates in various regions, including the South Caucasus. This committee focuses on the problems in the region, the condition of democracy, and social development. The Socialist International has great potential in resolving the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. 170 political parties representing 140 countries have united in the Socialist International. 60 of these parties are represented in government in their own countries. This organization spares no effort to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict within the framework of international law.

 

Vytautas Landsbergis

Member of the European Parliament Vytautas Landsbergis was elected “Honorary Doctor” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his contribution to strengthening friendly relations between the peoples of Lithuania and Azerbaijan, deepening humanitarian cooperation between the countries, as well as expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Parliament by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated  April 6, 2012.

Vytautas Landsbergs has received high state awards from a number of European countries. He is the author of more than 30 books. Vytautas Landsbergis’s works promoting human values are native to the Azerbaijani people. In Landsbergs’s Political Journalism the article “Tragedy of Azerbaijan”, and its dedication to the bloody page of our history of independence make his personality even more familiar to us. The new system of all-democratic values brought to the state administration by Vytautas Landsbergis and his services in strengthening the Azerbaijan-Lithuania relations are highly appreciated by the Azerbaijani people and scientific community.

Francis Garry

Mr.Francis Garry was awarded “Honorary Doctor” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his outstanding services in strengthening relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and World Intellectual Property Organization by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated  May 15, 2014.

Francis Garry has been awarded high prizes and honorary doctorates by a number of European countries and the world’s most prestigious universities. He served as Chairman of the High-Level Committee on Management of the UN Consultative Council of Heads of Systems, a member of the Advisory Commission on Interaction with International Organizations in Geneva, and continues to work as a professional teacher. The process of developing the copyright institution in Azerbaijan and bringing intellectual property in line with international protection standards will continue at a high pace.

Ilir Meta was awarded “Honorary Doctor” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his services in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Albania in the field of science and education by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated   March 15, 2019.

 

George İvanov

The diploma of “Honorary Doctor” of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan commemorative medal, mantle, and gifts are presented to President of the Republic of Macedonia George Ivanov by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 11, 2016.

Macedonian President expressed satisfaction with being awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and wished success to the staff of the Academy. G.Ivanov stressed especially Azerbaijan’s rapid and sustainable development, the country’s growing prestige in the international arena, and successful cooperation with international organizations.
